Believe in yourself – your life, your talents, your physicality, mentality, spirituality – unconditionally. If you cannot do that, you are as good as dead.
Listen to music – music you like, and dance to it as often as possible.
Walk slowly – the benefits of this speak for themselves.
Treat animals with as much respect as you do human beings. They’re often more honest, graceful, and kinder than most people who come into your life.
Accept things as they come, and let the small stuff float away. As for the big stuff, use it wisely.
Keep a routine of learning new languages. It’s like martial arts without violence.
Reserve the best of your love for your family. They are the axis that guides you to the realizations hidden within.
Avoid lights that are too bright.
Write as often as you can.
Accept that you’re going to die and that everything up to that moment (and possibly beyond) is a gift of unwordable wonder.
